In the dark...

Keep one eye closed.
Keep one eye open.
One hand in front.
One hand behind.
I dunno why. Just do it... and then think: "Why am I doing this?"
If you got that far... please stop following orders... and if you've stopped because you've read this last line... then have you really stopped following orders?
What should we do? Do we stop because we're told to stop, or because we believe it is the right thing to do? Do we stop at all?

Imploding Stomach
Where's the line between comfortable and uncomfortable locked eyes.

Not just with strangers, although that's what I wonder most often. I mean with friends, though. Even when having a conversation, does it never become awkward to stare into your friend's eyes for an extended period of time? I know I have to look around every once in a while: be aware of all my surroundings... And it seems like a constant game of "who will break eye contact." You don't want to lose, but you don't want to get burned.
I guess the better you know a person, and the more comfortable you are with them, the more time you can lock eyes without feeling the burn.
Whereas, I've sometimes found myself staring into strangers eyes just to awaken to the realization that I've locked eyes for a nanosecond too long, and then you get that burning/imploding stomach feeling.

Naught

I wonder how my doodles exist. When my pen touches the paper, I rarely ever know what it's gonna do. There have been exceptions, but I'd say that 99/100 times I have no idea what I'm going to draw until it's finished... and then I wonder where these subconscious ideas are formed and how they are transmitted to the paper. How can they even get to my hand without me knowing what they're going to manifest themselves as?
Freaky... I should go see a shrink about this :P
Why Not?
Seems like blogging is a fun thing to do... so why not give it a shot? I don't know if I have that many thoughts to share with, well,... you. In any case... here goes:

This is "Die-no." He started off as a blue dinosaur... but eventually got scanned and I photoshopped some color into him.
